When hunger starts to take over your hunch and when cravings for steaming hot momos with fiery red sauce, spicy noodles and chilli chicken reach an all time high, Casa Asia comes to rescue to fly those hunger pangs away with its delicious Indian-ised Asian food that we all long for.
With the base kitchen in Malviya Nagar, Casa Asia is a delivery only outlet, operating between 6 PM in the evening till 4 AM in the morning.
From dumplings to soups to shakes and desserts, with its menu, Casa Asia is trying to ensure that no palate goes unsatisfied.
A few days back I decided to order dinner from here and I couldn’t help myself but to order their speciality item- Casa Devil dumplings. Dumplings tossed in a hot and tangy sauce along with bell peppers, spring onions and green chillies, this spicy stir fry is certainly worth a try. The drums of heaven, though looked nice, didn’t remain crisp because of the air tight packaging and hence, turned out to be a dampener.
The chilly chicken had good quantity of chicken and was a dish packed full of flavour and spices. For the mains, I stuck to my all time favourite, chicken in schezwan sauce with hot garlic noodles, which turned out to be rather good, though I did miss onto the quintessential spiciness from the chilli garlic noodles. I ended my meal with a slice red velvet cake, which strangely enough had coconut cream filling, unlike regular cream cheese filled red velvet. Since I am not a huge fan of coconut, I found it unappetising, but if you like coconut, then this unusual cake slice might turn out to be great.
Overall, my experience with this new delivery only outlet turned out to be fairly good. The delicious food at a price that doesn’t burn a hole in your pocket and odd hour home delivery makes Casa Asia a place that one must order from to defeat those hunger pangs at night.
