It isn’t the easiest task to find a nice place to catch up with a friend. And if you also face the same dilemma, then rest assured, this small little cafe is in the bustling Defence Colony market can easily be your go-to place.
Offering a seating capacity of 20-25 pax, Cafe Yell has a fuss-free ambience at its disposal with elements of tailoring adorning its walls. While pizza and pasta form the essence of any cafe menu, Cafe Yell ensures that the Indian-food oriented taste buds don’t go unsatisfied, and have hence, included a few Indian dishes in their menu.
I strayed away from the Indian dishes, and chose to be loyal to my cafe-eats and got myself a portion of their jalapeno mozzarella bombs to start with. Crisp on the outside and gooey on the inside, the cheese bombs were indeed the bomb. While waiting for my alfredo pasta to arrive, I finished the kit kat caramel shake in no time. Needless to say, it tasted amazing.
With all the great toppings to choose from, I couldn’t choose which pizza should be my pick. The quattro meat love pizza appeared to be the best choice. Instead of having all the four types of meat spread all over the pizza, the four toppings found their own individual quarter of the pizza. So say if someone does not enjoy one meat, they can skip those slices.
To conclude my meal, I was looking forward to their drool-worthy cookie blast cheesecake. But unfortunately, it wasn’t available, and I settled down with a slice of salted caramel cheesecake. Beautifully baked cheesecake topped with just the right amount of salted caramel, I didn’t regret not having the cookie blast cheesecake, even for a bit.
Confession: Overall, my experience at Cafe Yell turned out to be rather good. The swift service paired with good quality food and simple ambience make Cafe Yell a must visit for when you’re in Defence Colony or nearby.
