Replete with joy, vibrancy, quirk and tranquillity, Pushkar, also known as the town of fairs and festivities, sees thousands of devotees and tourists, flocking its narrow lanes, learning about its history, getting their hands on artefacts or just soaking in the mystic vibe.
With myriad options to explore, be it the numerous cafes or the iconic Hindu temples, one always seeks a departure to unwind and unfold in comfort. That’s where Hotel Brahma Horizon, will come in handy, as a great option to stay when visiting Pushkar.
My last weekend was spent at this quaint and beautiful property, and I can certainly vouch that it’ll tick all the right boxes for any traveller. Having taken care of all amenities, Brahma Horizon, should be your pick, too, when visiting Pushkar, and here’s why:
The topmost factor for one to consider while booking a stay at any property is its vicinity to the places to visit on the Itinerary. Located on Panchkund Road in Pushkar, Hotel Brahma Horizon, has within a couple of kilometres of its radius, all the places that one would have in mind when visiting Pushkar. Be it the prominent Brahma Temple or the Pushkar Lake or the local Pushkar market, from the property, it took around 10-15 minutes for me to arrive at my chosen destination.
The hotel houses 4 different types of rooms: the deluxe king size room, deluxe twin rooms, executive pool view suite and the superior suite, that can be chosen according to one’s needs. My well-equipped deluxe king size room had a beautiful view of the Aravali mountain range, waking up to in the morning to catch a glimpse of the rising sun, was no less than a delight. The spacious bathroom with cubical shower, cable television, 24-hour room service and mini bar, were perfect to make my stay convenient and relaxing.
If a dip in the pool is what you seek for relaxation, then the Lotus Pool, set aside a lush green garden, surrounded by the Aravali mountain range with the backdrop of chirping birds, is just going to elevate your experience to a new level. Having my breakfast at the Lotus Cafe, post a swim, in the garden, soaking in the serene ambience, while enjoying some delicious grub for breakfast, is what I’d miss the most.
The all-day dining restaurant at the property: Abbiocco, meaning ‘good sleep after a good meal’, in Italian, has to be the highlight of the Hotel. Done up in hues of brown and cream, the restaurant boasts of warmth and vibrancy and is marked by wall murals and hanging lamps. Housing a buffet breakfast for its patrons in the morning, the multi-cuisine restaurant, in addition to its already existing menu, has introduced a variety of new offerings, to ensure that no palate goes unsatisfied. With two new refreshing mocktails: Kokum lemonade and Kiwi Virgin mojito along with a mix of appetisers, burgers and sandwiches, mains and desserts, the menu nests their traditional Rajasthani thali, that I’d bet my money on. Consisting of buttermilk, dal, baati, typical Rajasthani delicacies like gatta kari and ker sangri. rice et al, it is the thali that one cannot miss on to, whilst staying at the hotel.
The hotel, being in operation since October 2016, offers luxury and comfort, without burning a hole in ones pocket. The 32 spacious rooms, 6 suites, a splendid banquet hall and the lush green garden, all together, make Brahma Horizon a great pick for any function, even weddings. My comfort filled stay at the hotel is what makes me recommend and vouch for it!
