A small outlet in Greater Kailash 2, M Block market, offering delectable North Indian delicacies that will leave you craving for more, Dilli BC is surely going to be a tough competitor to the other North Indian food outlets.
Needless to say, where the place derives its name from(BC- butter chicken! , Dilli BC has at its disposal, a talented kitchen, that is going to tantalise your tastebuds with some mouth-watering delights.
Offering outside seating and operating as a delivery-based outlet, Dilli BC has a fuss-free menu that comprises of tandoori starters, wholesome curries and dals, along with biryanis and Indian breads.
A few days back I decided to order dinner from this place, and didn’t regret a bit. While the paneer tikka could have had more flavours, the tandoori soya chaap and dahi ke sholey were replete with spices and flavours. Though the vegetarian starters couldn’t come close to the absolutely delicious and melt-in-mouth chicken malai tikka and succulent tandoori chicken. Without doubt, both of them, a must have.
The main course comprised of some customary dal makhni and butter chicken, along with a portion of mutton roganjosh, with some Indian breads alongside. If velvety smooth and mellow-flavoured butter chicken is your weakness, then pick up your phone and order now. The roganjosh had morsels of falling-off-the-bone mutton, doused in a crimson gravy, packed with a bunch of spices. Though the undisputed winner dish of my meal would be the humble dal makhni, that was creamy, buttery and absolutely delicious!
Confession: Overall, Dilli BC, with its quirky name, offers some great food options to choose from. It wouldn’t burn a hole in your pocket and will be worth every rupee you spend. I hope they add on a dessert or two in their menu, to help us end our meals on a sweet note.
